QUAD-CITIES CLASSICAL WRESTLING
<>Formally established with its first show on November 7th, 2009, QCCW prides itself on a fusion of "old school" wrestling and modern wrestling. While it’s currently located in the Midwestern "Quad Cities" area in Illinois and Iowa, due to its working relationship with Alliance Japanese Championship Wrestling and the BATTLEMAX tag promotion, QCCW is beginning to find a footing in international wrestling circles. Joining the IWW-A when the Alliance was formed, QCCW stars are also being given an opportunity on national showcases as well. QCCW prides itself on being a home-grown promotion, and the fan base it has created both in person and online all seem to be devoted to the promotion.
In recent months, discussions between members of the IWW Board of Directors and QCCW President Matt Wintz have circled around the idea that Quad-Cities Classical Wrestling change its name and branch out into more territories. The argument for this has been made due to the world-wide exposure of QCCW due to its membership with the IWW and also with its relationship with All-Japan Championship Wrestling. The idea of re-naming the promotion Quality Class Championship Wrestling and branching out to include all of Illinois, Iowa, and move into markets in Michigan and other Midwestern states has so far not been adopted, but it is always on the minds of fans.
