Ode to the Moderators and Admins

After reading a post of another forum admin who will remain nameless, hell their just an moderator to boot. I ranted off what you'll read below in the quote, why am I sharing this? Because well I believe in it and no matter how much of a douche I may be on other sites (how many times I defend Hulk Hogan, bash WWE, or complain about HBK like a fanboy)

Here on IWW I try to keep my nerd urges to myself and govern as a fair admin. Now granted our members here are small, and no one here is the type to start a argument, but where this any other Board i'd still feel the same.

I notice alot online these days there people who are devoid of wit or charm. All they can manage is to hype themselves up and establish atleast unto themselves how great they are, meanwhile not thinking twice to downplay another persons efforts or intentions. These people don't offer friendship forthright, but instead offer insult. Their self esteem so shallow they must and will always bring anyone they deem unfit down beneath them. take this type of creature and place any remote authority on it's shoulders and behold the ignorant bias it projects onto it's world.

When given even the slightest authority, one should rise above friendships, politics or even their own opinion. Instead this authority should be used to govern and maintain order and fairness.

Too realise how to be fair and honest any officer of authority from meaningless site admin, to store manager, even a Police Officer or Judge must come to the conclusion that it's not alright to be one of the boys. You have to hold your friends to the same standards you hold a stranger, you must remove yourself and opinion and subplant them with rules and guidelines.

In short "don't be a fucking dick, do your job, be fair and don't fucking be a blatent asshole.
