I suggest limiting not just edits over 205-260 total stats, but those from 190-204. There is no need in a friendly alliance such as this to stack the deck with a roster of main eventers.
Or we can keep the stat caps as we have but ban certain wrestlers from inter-league matches such as our PPV's. Also I'm not picking on anyone I feel this should be the over all rule for all of us.
I also suggest a limit on the number of 10's allowed to parameters stats. Having 10's in over 3 areas is unnecessary as 10 is for those rare talents who excel in said era. A wrestler who has a 10 in Tech should not have a 10 in Rough, two 10's in Punch and Kick wouldn't be absurd for a tough fighter or MMA type talent but having strong striking abilities should limit the wrestler in other areas.
My point being we need stricter rules on stats and perhaps a reworking of the rulebook. I'm not accusing anyone of handing out uber stats but I am saying we need a overall base for what a main eventer is in IWW, and what lower card talent should be aswell.

It's kind of a tough thing to put forward. I can see what you mean, but then it's not always that simple. Logic has a lot to do with it as I've learned on the club board. Like I think Conor is my guy with the highest stats, around 205 or so, but he is evened out due to his striking skills and striking critical. And even then he can be overwhelming to some.
My personal view is that as long as the matches are consistently good and competitive then it's not a problem. Hell, my guys are consistently on the losing side but still manage to entertain, and to me that's what is important.

I could go either way with this. Yes, tweaking all of this could be a bit of work, but it's doable. I think logic though plays a lot into it, too. I think if we do go the route of limiting point ranges, we'll have to really see what we want to limit guys to. (Main Eventers, upper card, middle, jobbers, etc.)
I also think one of the things that does suck into points a little is just breathing/enabling rope moves, etc. While they aren't, say, putting 10s in five categories, even wanting a high-flyer to be able to run up the ropes is going to add something like, 6 or something points? Would there be a little bit of a leeway there since it could cost a decent sum of points just to make the edit the style you want?
I'll go with the majority, I'm cool either way. I know either way it gives me a chance to look over some of my guys and tweak them a bit.

Well lets see if I can keep everyone happy, and while logic and movesets play more into a edits ability parameters do effect there strength. ------------------ so what about ------ 4 edits over 205, the cap lowered from 260 to 245 - 5 edits from 195-204 - and anything below that is far game. - Also for the argument over giving 10's out like candy what if there was a max of 5 10's per edits parameter?

Or, or why not just a lowering of the max point setting, that was we'd only have to change like 10 edits.

a lowering of the max would be the easiest but I don't want to take away that class of elite edits. Maybe just lowering the max to 245 like Punk said and limiting the 10's dished out.

Alright, this should be do-able. Looks like there will be some tweaking done before the next show, lol.

I'm game for whatever you guys decide. A lowering of the cap works for me.
