I just tried to book a Dragon Den show, and man I'm just not feeling it. I've decided I'm going to downgrade Dragon Den to a freelance group like S-OFFICE.
It'll free up some edit slots too, I'll keep all the guys I dig like Bishop and others, but the rest can go or be signed elsewhere. Obviously I wont ask edits I don't own to be deleted, Punk and Kidcages guys are safe.

Sad to hear about the Dragon's Den.
Question for you all: When do you guys think are good times to "shake up your fed?" Watch as numerous guys head out, bring new talent in, etc. I'm asking because I'm really surprised at how underperforming one of the guys I recently brought back has been, and I've got a big "Loser Leaves QCCW" match comin' up soon, so there's a possibility I could thin out 4-6 guys in the very near future. This would leave me with the possibility of bringing in 6-8 talents.
I'm curious as to then if I should bring back older QCCW talents, new guys from feds in my huge save of promotions, or new edits I've worked on that no one's seen yet. I've got plans for a tag team to make their debut, but that still leaves 6 fresh slots.
So what do you think, would it be overkill to basically change almost 1/4 of my roster in the span of two weeks?

Personally who I have on a save goes by how much I enjoy the wrestler. If I'm just bored with a wrestler or more than one I'll either revamp them or just delete them. Some characters I make I simply love, but quite a few just don't cut it like real wrestlers.
So before you go and cut someone or bring someone else in stop and see if a simple gimmick and moveset change will do the trick. If you can't get attached tot he edit at all and the characters just dull then delete and look elsewhere.

I was thinking the same thing, in terms of a gimmick/moveset change. I've been revamping one, but for whatever reason, he's still not clicking. I know with a lot of change coming, the QCCW landscape could be quite different. What's funny is then there are some guys who I made simple tweaks too, such as a little bit of % change in logic, and it made all the difference.
And so, the plotting goes.

I say bring back at least one guy and make everybody else new to QCCW. You can always do the occasional firing for random reasons to spice things up.

See, I was thinking the exact thing. I looked at it, and I have the ability to bring in 6 guys: 5 faces and 1 heel (this could change if someone turns, or I get rid of one more guy)
I was thinking of bringing back one face, then four guys be new. On the heel side, bring in one new guy, and if I get rid of another, bring back a former QCCW talent. This gives me the opportunity for some wiggle room.
I'm also hoping to really start using more IWW guys, such as having AJCW, RCW, BWA, etc. people show up for one or two matches during house show tours. That would also help build some things.

I try to introduce edits into my feds 1 at a time or in small groups. Except the recent RCW overhaul, but there are plenty of familiar faces.
As for a face/heel ratio, in American promotions it's typical to have more heels than faces. In Mexico Heels usually are more dominate, but in Japan there's usually more faces than heels since the focus is on competition over storyline, but a heel in japan usually goes a step farther than most lol.

I think introducing them will be the interesting part too, as I will want to not overload one show with 6 or 7 new (or returning) people.
I try to keep things even because when I do shows such as "Gang Warfare" (4-on-4 elims) everything works out okay. But I've also noticed that feuds within alignments have been cool too. A recent 3-way dance that was all heels was probably one of the best matches I've seen simmed in a while, so...
I think my QCCW ADD is working against me, lol.

Your welcome to the BWA guys. If you need to know Face/Heel status for booking purposes just ask. Kevin Dream is a face and about as cocky as they come so it makes sense he would want as much widespread exposure as possible.

SPOILERS FOR UPCOMING QCCW RESULTS:
QCCW has come to terms with the release of both Manticore and "Flyin High" Kyle Skye. Skye returned a few months ago but has decided to leave the promotion and finish working on his business degree. Manticore has decided to return to Mexico.
QCCW is also proud to announce the signing of Japanese wretler "The H-Bomb" Haruo Tezuka. This fan favorite will be making his debut at the September 19th house show in Walcott, Iowa. QCCW President Matt Wintz has also announced several more talent signings will be occurring, leading up to the upcoming "Showcase of the Stars VIII" in October.
Also, QCCW has come to terms on the release of The Swarm. The Insecticos, a fan favorite trio, are not leaving the IWW system however, and are open for bookings throughout IWW promotions. They have an open door to return to QCCW, but for now they are unaffiliated with any promotion.

*More Breaking News From QCCW*
QCCW is proud to announce the signing of several former QCCW faces back to the promotion. "Mad Dog" Joe Curtis, "Boogeyman" Brian Feare, and "Cyborg" Tyrone Dukes have all signed with the promotion to come back during the month of September.
Curtis had left QCCW after a series of losses, resulting in a very public rant against QCCW at a house show. Curtis, who has been working as a Mechanic in Des Moines, and the QCCW office, have come to an agreement for his return. While still a crude personality, Curtis expressed uncharacteristic thanks to the fans of QCCW.
Dukes, always a fan favorite, has been wrestling throughout the country in other promotions, honing his skills. He said however, he was more than happy to return to QCCW. Having undergone a bit of a wrestling style and attire change, Dukes believes a new outlook will breed better results.
Feare is one-half of the American Nightmares tag team, but is returning to QCCW in a singles role, and promising also not to care about the voices of the fans. Feare said "I'd been held back by these fans long enough, I'm here to cripple people and take belts." His partner, Aaron Speedman, is currently teaching in the Knox Elementary School district and will not be returning.
QCCW also has announced the signing of another new talent to QCCW. "The Marxman" Jimmy Marx was known in the Championship Wrestling Association as a great performer and professional. He has signed on with QCCW to join the roster in September.
These four join Haruo Tezuka as talents signed by QCCW in the recent days. QCCW is still looking at the possibility of signing a tag team to their roster. More news as this story develops.
