Trent said he had some startling news for the ICWA and that the promotion would be ceasing operations close to the end of the month of September. Barney Trent said that while attendence had been decent, it wasn't enough to keep the promotion going. Trent said the ICWA would fulfill it's obligation to the IWW in terms of the upcoming TV special and PPV, but as soon as the month of September was over, the ICWA would be no more.
Brady immediately launched into a promo asking why this was allowed to happen, as now he was "basically the champion of a closing company." Trent responded saying that a promotion was already interested in coming to a deal with the ICWA in terms of where the talent could find work, but it wasn't going to be easy. Trent said however that WHOEVER was the ICWA champion at the time of the promotion's closing would be given a GUARANTEED contract. However, every other member of the male roster, excluding the women's division, would have to fight for their spot in a series of "make it or break it" matches with wrestlers from the other promotion.
Eric Brady again ordered to know who this promotion was, and he was immediately answered when representatives of the promotion appeared in the entrance-way.
They were Justin Schultz, Tyrone Dukes, & Starship of Quad-Cities Classical Wrestling. The show ended with the crowd in quiet disbelief.
