So with the idea of the Mayor's Cup tourney, I'm going to... ahem... borrow the idea in a way.
I'm thinking of holding a "Quad City Classic" Tournament open up to anyone in any IWW promotion. The thought is to hold a one-night tourney with the winner getting a title shot at the QCCW TV Champion. I figure one representative from each promotion, and if there's any open spots I can fill with a freelancer.
My thought is no QCCW talent will be in this tourney as this is for both a) an IWW showcase and b) giving an outside talent a chance.
Since I'm months ahead in my cards I know this could be a bit strange, but I'm also thinking that I could hold it "retro-actively", meaning I would mark it in the records of occuring the day I hold it (IE: If I sim the tourney on May 7th, for example, it would be given the May 7th date as occuring) with the winner getting to take their shot on the "Showdown of the Stars III" occuring at the end of July.
Any thoughts or interest? I figure an eight-man tournament would be more than fine.

Sweetness. Let us know when you will be simming the tourney and even if my whole pack is not ready I will get you my guys who are. In fact now that I think about it maybe I will have a mini challenge to help figure out who deserves the shot to go to QCCW.

Alright, the current date for ideal simming this tournament will be next Monday, so May 10. After looking through my records, I didn't even create the TV Title until June, so this tournament will be a little tricky for chronology. This is what I get for being months in advance, lol. I think that I will have this tournament sim on May 10th as a tournament "Giving the winner a shot at a QCCW Title", then using it for the TV title. The plan is then also for whoever to win it to appear on QCCW programming leading up to their title shot on July 30th. Alright, now with all the "Quantum Leap" stuff out of the way: Currently slated for appearance: Iron Satoshi (AJCW), Wilhelm Drake (CAN-AM), Binx (EECP), and Joe Dynamite (CCW) This leaves four spots open, one saved for cfb if he wants it, For a Freelancer Spot should it be needed, Ryu Takeda will step up. If he's not needed, he will be in a special feature match against Tony Byron.

Well the guy I would like to enter this tournament is already finished so please save a spot for "Louie, Louie" Louis Swanney. My whole pack should...should be ready by this upcoming Monday or Tuesday. I also just got my gamebridge in the mail so all I need is my new PC and ?I will be up and running. Can not wait to make some vids like some of you guys have and get the PWA rolling.

Sounds awesome, and he's in. I can wait on the tourney a few days to see if I get a few more guys, and I'd love to have pWA represented, so no worries.

Cool, thanks man. I may be finished with my pack this weekend if I get a spare moment from work and my gf. But I havent seen her all week so it may have to wait until Monday.
I really need to use one of my off days to get the PWA up and running already an hour here and there during the week makes it drag on and on and on,lol. Oh well hopefully it will be worth the wait.

If it's not too late, NSPW's "Loverboy" Jerry Rockwell would be a great canidate for a tv title shot tourney. If you sim with seconds, he's accompanied to the ring by "Night Ranger" Rick Landers, who happens to be the NSPW All-Star TV champ. They're a tag team (The Taladega Knights), but part of their gimmick is that they see themselves as "Big-time TV stars".
