As QCCW goes into the new year, a couple announcements from QCCW. A HUGE main event has been signed for QCCW "Showcase of the Stars V" on January 22nd, 2010. "Showcase..." is the quarterly supershows that have seen classic matches and surprises, and the this one is no different.
It has been signed that Freeweight Champion Cruz de Diablo, El Hombre Lobo, and current reigning USWU US Tag Champions Suicide Machines will team up to try and put a stop to the faction of TV Champion Mike Hooke, Tag Team Champions Ian Samuel & Critical Condition, and their enforcer ally Evan Anderson in an "Ultimate Jeopardy" match. What is Ultimate Jeopardy? A match where everyone involved MUST put something on the line. These have been the stipulations set forth:
<>If Diablo loses the fall, the person who beats him wins the Freeweight Title.
<>If Anderson loses the fall, he leaves QCCW.
<>If Lobo loses the fall, he will be forced to unmask.
<>If Hooke loses the fall, the person who beats him wins the TV Title.
<>If either of the Suicide Machines lose the fall, the team will be forced to break up.
<>If either Samuels or Condition lose the fall, they lose the Tag Title.
The fallout from any of these wins could be huge. If the Suicide Machines lose, would they be forced to vacate the USWU tag titles? Career changing stipulations for Anderson and Lobo as Anderson puts his QCCW career on the line while Lobo puts up his mask and identity. Where everyone has something to gain, it is promised that one competitor very well will LOSE IT ALL.
Also in January, the "Midwest Classic" Tournament returns. Last year, eight competitors from IWW signed up for a single night tournament that saw the winner get a shot at the QCCW TV Title. The tournament winner of 2010, AJCW's Iron Satoshi, went on to win the QCCW TV Title and hold it for a month. Who from IWW will be willing to sign up for this opportunity? The first eight promotions or volunteers will be entered in this amazing event!
