FACES
Braden Morrow
<> Morrow is a young talent who's just finished his Associates Degree through a local community college in Maine, but has decided that putting his natural athletic ability to use in the ring would be a better use of his time. Morrow has spent his time training to be a quick opponent to his adversaries, but he's also spent time perfecting the old art of the pin. Morrow has made the simple backslide a move of perfection, and while it's not flashy, he has already made a splash throughout Northeast independents as being the man who has made a simple move a most devastating finisher.
"Classic" Jacob Henry
<> Jacob Henry took part in several wrestling camps throughout elementary school and junior high, building himself a solid technical background. It was through backyard wrestling with his friends that he allowed for an innovating and daredevil style to work its way into his life, and during his Senior Year in high school and college years, he and his friends became internet sensations with their backyard promotion. One match that took the internet by storm was a match with childhood friend, and fellow ICWA talent, Scott "Spotlight" Jackson, that was a fifty-eight minute match that incorporated their homemade ring, an RV, and an insane hurricanrana from the roof of the patio into the ring. While both men do not condone using backyard wrestling to get into the business, it has opened doors for both of them. Henry is a dangerous blend of innovative, high-flying, and technical wrestling that could spell the end for any opponent he goes up against.
Scott "Spotlight" Jackson
<> Scott Jackson is a childhood friend of Jacob Henry and seems to be the perfect partner-in-crime and opposite to Henry. Jackson spent his time in the gym and utilizes his upper body strength along with speed to neutralize his opponents. Jackson has been credited with having one of the most beautiful moonsaults in wrestling, even though his professional career has just gotten started. Like Henry, he is very much an internet sensation, chalking up nearly a million hits online with views of a montage of his moonsaults in backyard matches. Many believe that Jackson has what it takes to go to both national and international glory, but he currently believes in just staying right where he's at and putting on great matches for people who come to see him.
Detroit Steele
<> The masked man from Detroit (Rock City!) is a huge fan favorite and a man who was a dominating fan favorite in Michigan's pro wrestling scene. While many are wondering why the Michigan native and cult hero is traveling to Maine to take part in the ICWA, some believe that by bringing his moderate star power to the federation could already open more doors for the ICWA. Possessing strength and heart, Steele is looking to become the first ICWA champion, but also to pass on some knowledge to young wrestlers in the fed and in the ICWA training school that he will be a teacher at in the coming months.
"The Hammer" Randall Troy
<> A veteran of the mat wars for over 21 years, "The Hammer" Randall Troy knows that for the most part, his biggest days in wrestling are behind him. However, while this might be true, his drive for being in the business has not. He began his career in 1989 at the age of 23 and by 1992 had held regional singles titles throughout the Northeast and Southeast United States, but it was during a tour of Virginia that he met up with Sam Slate, a man who he became good friends with and also trained in professional wrestling. In 1991 the two men captured the National Tag Titles for the United States Wrestling Union and held the belts until 1995, creating a lasting legacy as one of the most prominant tag teams in the country. They than took time off of national wrestling and went overseas to Japan, wrestling from 1996 until 2004 when Troy retired. Troy has come out of retirement to add himself to the roster of the ICWA, and he was joined by his old tag partner.
Sam "Stone" Slate
<> Sam Slate began his career in early 1991 and he immediately became a success with his tag team partner Randall Troy. Five years yonger than Troy, he quickly adapted to his partners "rough and ruckus" style of pro-wrestling. Namely, for every punch your opponent might land on you, you land two. Never one to promote the high flying moves or technical prowess of pro wrestling, Slate is known for possessing one of the hardest punches in the business, one that quickly lets his opponents know he's no slouch. After Troy's retirement in 2004, Slate continued to wrestle in Japan before coming back stateside in 2006 and wrestling throughout the country. Slate now is happy to be part of ICWA, and while the promotion may not have a tag division now, he has no problem locking up with anyone who wants a fight.
"Big G" Glen Hughes
<> "Big G" is a friendly guy who has loved professional wrestling for sometime and has spent the last four years in the business. A construction worker by day, Hughes was given the name "Big G" due to the fact he is 6'8" and known to tower over just about anyone. Hughes is known for his friendly personality and always staying after shows to take pictures with fans and sign autographs, because he always has believed its fans that make wrestlers. However, don't take his good nature as a sign he's a pushover in the ring, because he is quite the opposite. He relishes in competition and always targets the most violent person on the roster as his target, as he always looks to give someone a chokeslam.
Trisha Davenport
<> Trisha Davenport began her career in pro-wrestling in 2008 wrestling in the all-female Women's Wrestling Union, capturing their singles title within six-months. A technical wrestler, Trisha loves to use suplexes to her advantage in matches and executes one of the most perfect Northern Lights suplexes in the business. A student of both current and past women's wrestling, Davenport doesn't use as much flashy moves, or low-cut outfits, to keep fans attention, but she has been respected as being a solid worker. She is a heavy favorite in the ICWA Women's division, and she is also an ambassador for women's wrestling, hoping to bring more women to the promotion.
"Hot Stuff" Heather Heat
<> Hot headed, and according to male fans hot looking, Heather Heat is known for explosive action in the ring. A woman who loves to throw dropkicks, spinwheel kicks, and anything that can take an opponent's head off with her feet, Heat uses her Heatwave Superkick to put opponents flat on their back. A former Women's Wrestling Union wrestler, she was once Trisha Davenport's main rival for the title, but now the two women share a common respect.
Meredith Milanos
<> The fiance of Jacob Henry, Meredith Milanos is a young woman who learned to wrestle in Japan, taking note of the career of Megumi Kudo. Milanos is known for her feud with Alexis Trent as the two trained together, but took very different directions in pro-wrestling. Back in the US from Japan now for over a year, Milanos has joined the ICWA in order to capture her first Women's title, but to also give herself a chance to work her way up the IWW rankings. A very vocal fan favorite, Milanos is poised to be a breakout star in ICWA.
HEELS
Dane Fortune
<> Brought up in a wealthly family, Dane Fortune was given anything he wanted as a spoiled son of a trophy wife. While Fortune enjoys the splendor of money, there's also no doubt that this former football star has the ability to take him far in professional wrestling. Smug, cocky, and yet gifted with ring genius, Fortune is looking to be the first ICWA champion in order to continue his constant bragging. "Mr. Fame and Fortune" is also to be watched due to his perfection of underhanded and illegal tactics in the ring, as taking cheap shots are never above him.
Critical Condition
<> A huge, brawling monster, Critical Condition's only purpose in being in the ICWA is to end careers. A feared man throughout the Northeast wrestling scene, Critical Condition has ended the careers of three professional wrestlers. Utilizing both his power and a sadistic streak, "Crit-Con" prefers to target his opponent's neck with clubbing fists, neckbreakers, and chokes before executing a jumping piledriver. While there isn't much flash to him, he is always a wrestler to be watched. It seems that due to his violent nature, he has been made a target by Glen Hughes, a potentially violent and ratings-grabbing battle of the big men.
Evan Anderson
<> Trained in the "Anderson tradition" of isolating an opponent's body part and then breaking it apart, the young Anderson has mastered both the DDT and spinebuster to put away opponents as well. Rugged and tough, Anderson's technical skills are not to be overlooked while he throws punches on his opponent. He's a no-nonsense style of wrestler who has captured respect from fans as to not be someone who can't back up his talk, and this seems to confuse Anderson as he makes no qualms about not being in the business for the fans. A very possible threat to being the first ICWA champion.
Corporal Hell
<> A bloody, violent brawler, Corporal Hell is known for fighting in deathmatch federations in Japan. While his wrestling skills leave to be desired, his penchant for blood is something that has made him a cult sensation online. Always hiding a fork or other foreign object, Hell doesn't care for titles as he does for blood. He brings with him to ICWA a possibility of taking the promotion in a very hardcore direction, as Hell always challenges opponents to barbed wire or light tube death matches. Famous for his gory barbed-wire/glass panel/fire rope death match against Da Bargain Hunta that saw both men bloodied and in need of multiple stitches, Hell carries a bloody, scarred reminder of the battle on his forehead.
Doug "The Bloody" Hart
<> Trained in Canada, Hart believes he is the best wrestler that the ICWA has signed. Instantly making enemies out of Jacob Henry and Scott Jackson during a press conference, Hart is outspoken in his hate for backyard wrestling and "daredevils who think wrestling is all about cool spots." Trained in submissions and technical wrestling, the most devastating thing Hart possesses is his ruthlessness. Never to back down from a challenge and never shy to exploit a weakness, Hart seems more determined to prove his wrestling skill and schooling to be more legitimate than Henry and Jackson.
"Boston Born" Eric Brady
<> A "pub kid" who grew up in Boston, Brady is everything about the city. He loves the Celtics, he loves to fight, and he hates Maine. The grandson of Irish immigrants, Brady spent his time in college in Ireland and now looks to bring his brawling style to the ICWA. A very powerful young man, Brady might be known more for his "Boston Bombs", powerbombs off the top rope or that he executes with such velocity people worry he's just reckless. While the ICWA will mark his US pro wrestlign debut, Brady spent his time in Ireland training for this moment, and he is becoming a wrestler to watch.
British Invasion
<> The masked Brit is a technical wrestler who believes he will retake American pro wrestling and fly the Union Jack high above its rings. A man proud of his English heritage, he wears a mask and claims that "no Bloody Yank deserves to look upon the face of a real gentleman." While this has not endured him to fans across the country, his championship calibre goes without saying. Having held titles in multiple promotions, he takes great pride in winning US Titles in any promotion and renaming it the "UK Title." Looks to be a tough and talented ICWA member.
"Assassin" Alexis Trent
<> Trained in Japan and a heated rival of Milanos, Trent is known for taking the fight to any woman in the ring with her. Having wrestled in both Japan and Mexico, Trent looks forward to stepping into ICWA's rings and immediately going for the title. She became known as the "Assassin" due to her pinpoint accuracy at finding the weakness of her opponent and using it to her advantage.
Lady Violent
<> Having wrestled throughout the US, Lady Violent has become a cult favorite to hardcore fans as she is more than willing to draw blood whenever she can. Violent has had run-ins with both Heather Heat and Trisha Davenport in the old WWU and the November 2008 WWU Title match between Violent and Davenport is known for both it's brutality and classic wrestling. A feud that many fans hope is revisited in ICWA, Violent has made it clear she wants it as well.
Tina "Tank Girl" Gutierez
<> Tina Gutierez is one of the most powerful female wrestlers in the business, seemingly able to manhandle any opponent in front of her. While not known for her speed or model-figure, Gutierez lives up to her name "Tank Girl" as she runs over opponents with pure force. Gutierez has been a nomadic female wrestler, never staying in promotions to win titles, but to make her profile grow. However, she has signed a contract with ICWA and could very well bully her way to the title.
