Eastern Europe Championship Pact History
The EECP was founded after a major scandal rocked the All Europe Wrestling League. The owner/promoter was caught in his hotel room bed with Eva Justice, the top female star of the federation. In the ensuing chaos bonds were broken, friendships strained and contracts voided. The owners wife, Jill Beriskova, left him and took with her half of everything he owned. Well, almost everything. The courts ruled the wrestling promotion was off limits. Not to be daunted, she set out and started her own promotion, the Eastern Europe Championship Pact.
With her came many of the top performers from the AEWL. Including the reigning Grand Champion El Perro and reigning Tag Champions the Black Velvet Band, whom were disgusted by the owners actions and wanted no part of his promotion. Beriskova also brought in new talent, and founded her headquarters in Warsaw, Poland.
Within weeks they had held tournaments to crown their champions and held a follow up event to name number one contenders. After the third small event where the belts were defended a T.V. deal was had. Now with two regular shows and one PPV per month broadcast all over Europe they became the top wrestling company.
AEWL is still around but at a fraction of what it used to be. Most stations won’t touch them and many wrestlers no longer want to work for them. Still, Eva Justice and their new top star, Solomon, continue to call out the wrestlers of EECP. Beriskova is not worried, and the EECP is still gaining steam. With Europe hers she is poised to take her promotion global.
Titles –
Ultimate Championship = The very top of the promotion, the Ultimate championship is what everyone strives for.
Class 2 Championship = Mid level title for the up and comers. Holding this cements you as a credible threat.
Tag Team Championships = Self explanatory. If you are a tag team then this is your goal.
The EECP has a working relationship with many promotions around the world and allows their wrestlers to be booked for other shows whenever possible.
