QCCW Stars on a Tour with Texas, going extreme with Texas Hardcore Wrestling
<>QCCW will be sending a few of its stars to the Texas area to work a series of shows with Texas Hardcore Wrestling. THW, is the brainchild of one “Murderous” Mike Montana, a name synonymous with hardcore wrestling throughout the mid-to-late 1990s throughout the Southwest. The promotion is known for its bloody battles and promise of "one death match per show." Several international talents such as Japanese deathmatch legend Taka Iishi, Mexican star Blood Bull, and Puerto Rico/Cuba hardcore sensation Pedro Areyes have all made it their home in recent years, along with US stars from the old Big Time Wrestling promotion Blood Farmer and Randy Gunner.
As of now, Freeweight Champion Doug McGraw, and QCCW stars Cruz de Diablo, Mbwiri, The Fightin' Farmers, Ian Samuels, Critical Condition, Mike Hooke, 42nd Street Drifters, Mystery Mask, Haruo Tezuka, and Joe Curtis are making the trip. While very few matches have been announced so far, it is rumored to be a three-day event.
QCCW toying with the idea of going back overseas, possible show with AJCW?
<>After a successful tour in the past with AJCW, QCCW is looking into the possibility of another show with them. Both promotions have had a great working relationship since the beginning of IWW, with Kodo Akino and Iron Satoshi holding QCCW titles at times. More on this later...
Destruction Inc.'s open challenge has been met by two IWW teams
<>Cruise Control, the current CWA Tag Team Champions have signed on to take on Destruction Inc. for the QCCW Tag Titles on the July 27th episode of "QC Clash." Ken Ross and Harris Jones, who have held the CWA Tag Titles since winning them in a tournament, said they had been hearing the talk that GT Goode and Tyson Dallas had been flooding the airwaves with, and they were going to make a point to take them down.
"What we're going to do is win the QCCW Tag Titles and prove we're good enough to hold titles in two promotions." Jones said.
When asked about this challenge, Goode's response was "Notice those two don't wanna add THEIR belts to the mix, cause they know they'll lose. Talk is cheap boys, and your in for the fight of your life."
Destruction Inc. might have an even tougher challenge on their hands, as Cruz de Diablo has said he and an old friend of his will be more than willing to take on Destruction Inc., and will Takeshi Akino's recent return to action, fans are abuzz to a possible showdown.
