*Good Times Comes QCCW's Way*
<>With the upcoming relaunch of IWW activities since its month off from official IWW-sanctioned events in August, QCCW has made waves with new rules, a new title, a ton of new hires, and a new trainer involved with the company.
<>First off, as detailed in a press release, QCCW has added a new title, the Extreme title, to its lineup! After a hard-fought tournament, IWW Deathmatch Champion Mbwiri (a QCCW regular and nearly unbeatable monster) walked away with the new title. This new title is seen as a step for the promotion into courting fans of the more hardcore style of wrestling.
<> The promotion has also signed two new female talents, Commette and "The Valkyrie" Sara Kingston. Both have been embraced by the company and the fans as these two well-traveled wrestlers make their way to the Quad-Cities area.
<> With "Rush" becoming another strong corner of QCCW programming, the rumor is that by October the show may grow to two hours long. This would be a huge push for QCCW that, while still a small regional promotion, could continue to grow the show's popularity. This, along with the rumors of a possible nationally-broadcast television special on Chicago's WGN network has gotten fans all excited, especially with the company's third year anniversary looming in November.
<> Detailed news of the new challenger ranking to titles can be found in the "QCCW" Promotional Press Release in the "Promotions" area of the IWW official message board.
